Hollywood celebrity and U.N. Environment Goodwill Ambassador Adrian Grenier believes that cryptocurrency has the potential to “fix a lot of the processes that are now broken and fairly inefficient across many industries.”
He recently told Yahoo Finance that many people are concerned about the environmental effects of Bitcoin (BTC) mining. “[There’s] a trade-off for everything,” Grenier said.
Grenier describes himself as a “realist,” believing that cryptocurrency might have a good influence on a global scale.
The actor recently left Hollywood and moved to Texas to build his own communal farm, where he intends to raise his own food and trade locally using digital currencies.
He has been striving to turn his property into a “wildlife refuge” for bees, butterflies, birds, and, ultimately, llamas or alpacas.
He and his partner raise peaches, apples, loquats, figs, avocados, and other fruits and vegetables.
Grenier considers NFTs to be “exciting.” According to him, digital collectibles enable individuals to “exchange values with one another without the need of mental people and gatekeepers.
