On June2, Binance crypto exchange all set to sponser Canadian hip-hop singer, The Weeknd’s “After Hours Til Dawn” tour, which starts off on July 8, 2022. This is the worldwide show tour to utilise Web 3.0 advancements to develop the crowd experience.
Binance exchange has made a commendable effort in recent years to bridge the cultural and sporting gap, and it has made its presence known through sponsorships and investments. Through the partnership with The Weeknd, the trading platform said it “will collaborate with HXOUSE, a global think-centre for creative entrepreneurs, to release an exclusive NFT collection for The Weeknd’s tour, along with co-branded tour merchandise.”
Binance Exchange also announced a $2 million donation to the XO Humanitarian Fund, the fund assisted by The Weeknd to assist citizens living in the world’s most hunger-stricken places.
The World Food Programme (WFP) manages the fund, and as further assistance, Binance exchange and The Weeknd will create “a specifically designed NFT collection, and five percent of its revenues will be contributed to the XO Humanitarian Fund.”
Binance has been recognised as a significant sponsor of several big events in recent months, including the Africa Cup of Nations, and its humanitarian initiatives in Ukraine are among the most comprehensive. While the trading platform is aiming to shift its attention to obtaining the appropriate licences through effective relationships with authorities, the exchange is also making excellent use of positive publicity through its multiple partnerships.
