Last week, the previous digital fraud cases of Wonderland’s current CFO Patryn has come to light which has severely damaged the Wonderland image in the market. It was reported that Patryn, Wonderland CFO, is convicted for running a credit card fraud scheme using different names in 2002.
It is also noted that no misconduct complaint has been reported against Patryn during his tenure in Wonderland. The idea of appointing a person with financial fraud cases as company CFO (Chief Finance Officer) has created distrust among Wonderland’s users.
Users asked Daniele Sestagalli, co-founder of DeFi protocol Wonderland, for the immediate removal of Michael Patryn from financial management. Sestagalli said that many users also commented that we should shut down Wonderland and return the funds to the token holders. But he think that’s an easy way out. Users appreciated Sestagalli thinking. One such user, El_jefe_NYC, commented:
“This is EXACTLY the type of action Dani needed to do in these hard times. That’s how a leader is supposed to react. We will grow back MUCH stronger moving forward.”
