According to a media report released by Universal Air Travel Plan (UATP) on June 16, Vueling has joined BitPay and UATP to make secret money like SHIB and DOGE eligible for airline ticket purchases.
Vueling, a major low-cost airline, has used crypto payments, continuing a trend that has emerged in recent months, with many businesses exploring the possibility of taking payment for their goods and services using cryptocurrency.
Vueling, Spain’s second-largest airline and a subsidiary of International Airlines Group, operates more than 30 million passengers annually and operates in 122 locations worldwide. With such statistics, the company can be considered a strong addition to the digital earnings level.
UATP, whose technology is widely used in the aviation industry, has also been a key participant in this process. Sponsors will be able to pay for push transactions using various crypto wallets, despite the fact that ticket prices will be presented in fiat. Payments will be accepted via SHIB, DOGE, BTC, and other well-known cryptocurrencies.
