Travellers prefer to book hotels in Metaverse with no human interaction: Survey

According to a recent Oracle Hospitality study, travellers do not like unexpected things, such as the need to communicate with others. About 73% of tourists prefer hotels with artificial intelligence or technology that prevents them from communicating with hotel staff or other guests.

In addition, the report states that travellers are afraid to speak to any hotel staff while staying at the hotel. In addition, according to Oracle, most travellers would like to use their cell phone for all their hotel information, including ordering food, check-in, check-out, and more.
Surprisingly, guests do not want the daily cleaners to touch anything in their room. Less than a quarter of those surveyed said that they want hotel cleaners to keep their rooms clean every day. In other words, people are not allowed.
Digital art or NFT artwork in guest rooms is also very entertaining or relaxing. Today’s travellers expect that Netflix or other much-needed entertainment will work in line with their games or personal streaming. This is their most important need when they are staying in a hotel.
Voice control locks, temperature, and lighting are also popular amenities for hotel rooms. About 43% want this to be included in customer information.
In addition, the report highlighted the importance of high popularity and high technology for travellers. They prefer front screen layouts using metaverse and choose their rooms and floors, paying only for certain amenities.
Travellers select hotel models that allow them to customise their stay according to their specific needs. They are willing to pay more if they can choose certain amenities such as viewing, room, floor, and other features that will make their vacation more memorable.
Travellers seem to want to connect with people as little as possible. With this in mind, approximately 96% of hotel owners would prefer to invest in artificial intelligence and non-contact technology rather than hiring additional staff.
