SHIB now can be used to buy land in SHIB: The Metaverse

On May 5, the Shiba Inu team announced that the SHIB token can now be used to buy land in SHIB: The Metaverse on community demand.

The Shiba Inu team announced on May 5 that land can now be bought in SHIB: The Metaverse using the Shiba Inu token. The Shiba Inu team claims that this was done in response to SHIB community demands. In a tweet posted on the SHIB: The Metaverse official handle, it then shares specifics about minting using SHIB.

Shiba Inu creator Shytoshi Kusama stated the latest development:

“I’m so unbelievably pleased about Shib’s MV.”

The Shiba Inu team previously released the specifics of a new SHIB utility feature. SHIB will be used to decorate land parcels with photos and brands. The feature will also burn SHIB when the pictures are changed. SHIB may be used to rename or identify land parcels while simultaneously burning SHIB, giving the environment a SHIB identity. HUBS will also be leased through SHIB. HUBS are the most valuable land (blocked/reserved areas) in all of space.

Shiba Inu has also announced the start of the third stage of the SHIB: The Metaverse land auction, which will be open to the public. This is the final step of the Metaverse’s initial round of land sales. During the open public auction event, anybody can buy the remaining accessible lands on the map for a predetermined amount without having to lock up any of their ecological assets.

According to the Shiba Inu team, SHIB burning and renaming will be available during the public sale stage and the community will be notified when the feature is available.

Shiba Inu (SHIB) is still the most valuable cryptocurrency among the top 500 ETH whales. SHIB worth $1,200,401,137 is now held in these top wallets. As this metric count represents growth, Shiba Inu has gained over 4,000 owners in only a few days. According to WhaleStats, the total number of SHIB holders is presently 1,143,441.

According to sources, the number of SHIB holders was estimated to be 1,139,916 on April 28. However, the latest uptick is still a good indication. Although a rise in holders may not affect the price immediately, it may signal long-term interest in a token.
