PayRange is now supporting Bitcoin and Shiba Inu payments in North America’s vending machines

PayRange Inc., a mobile payment system that allows customers to pay from vending machines, has begun accepting cryptocurrency. Aside from cryptocurrency, the automated retail mobile payment software now accepts hundreds of gift cards from brands including Starbucks, Walmart, Home Depot, Lowes, and Apple.

PayRange, established in the Pacific Northwest, has a network of over 500,000 vending machines in 350 cities and towns across North America, as well as millions of users. Users can fund transactions using Bitcoin, Ethereum, Shiba Inu, and other cryptocurrencies by logging into their Coinbase account within the PayRange App. In November 2021, Coinbase stated that Shiba Inu cryptocurrency will be available to New York residents, who will be able to trade, buy, sell, and store SHIB on the platform. In most Coinbase-supported regions, customers can also trade, send, receive, and store SHIB.
According to a new survey conducted by the Gemini cryptocurrency exchange, almost half of all cryptocurrency owners joined the market last year. Gemini conducted a survey of 20 nations in North America, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific. In 2021, nearly half of all current cryptocurrency owners in the United States (44 percent), Latin America (46 percent), and Asia-Pacific (45 percent) purchased their first cryptocurrency.
Shiba Inu, Dogecoin, and other cryptocurrencies supported by BitPay, including Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC), and five USD-pegged stablecoins (BUSD, DAI, GUSD, USDC, and USDP), are now accepted as payment by Vancouver-based meatmeCA.
