P2P Process (peer to peer)

A peer-to-peer network is a basic computer network. It was primarily established in the late 1970s. Within the established network, each computer serves as a node for file sharing. There is no main server in this network since each node functions as a server. This enables the exchange of large volumes of data. The duties are distributed evenly across the nodes. Each and every node in the network has an equal share of the work. To bring the network to a halt, each node must shut down independently. This is due to the fact that each node operates independently.

P2P Network Types

Unstructured P2P networks: This network is simple to construct since devices can be linked in the network at random.

Structured P2P networks: It is  created by using software that produces a virtual layer in arranging the nodes in a certain architecture.

Hybrid P2P networks: It utilizes the benefits of both client-server model and P2P networks.
