India Leads in P2E and NFT gaming Adoption
According to Finder’s ‘NFT Gaming Adoption Report,’ India stands at first position among the 26 nations polled in terms of P2E (play-to-earn) gaming adoption.
According to the study, which surveyed 43,312 people from 26 countries, 34% of Indian web users have P2E (played-to-earn) games, which is much higher than the worldwide average of 14%. Hong Kong comes in second with 29%, followed by the United Arab Emirates on 27%.
India to See More P2E Gamers
While the adoption of P2E games looks to be increasing, statistics from Finder appear to reveal a difference in the amount of interest between participants from Western nations as well as the rest of the world. For example, in the United States, although nearly 14% of respondents stated they were familiar with P2E, just 9.4% had played nearly one game. Only 4.3% of Swedish respondents admitted to having played.
Finder stated that the percentage of US residents planning to play P2E games in the future is predicted to expand 1.8 times by the end of 2022, with the proportion of individuals in the US likely to reach 16.5%.
In France, where just 6% of participants have played a P2E game, the percentage is predicted to climb to 15%. Peru from 13% to 29% and Spain from 8% to 17% are the other notable movers.
Finder also discovered that males play P2E (play-to-earn) games more than women (38% vs 29%), with youngsters aged 18-34 leading the way. In this area, India once again led with 41.7%, while Germany, Sweden, and France all had less than 10%.
India’s P2E business is thriving because it allows the country’s vast audience to earn money and bonuses simply by playing games.
Nigeria Leads Africa in P2E gaming
Nigeria and South Africa also took part in the survey from Africa. In Nigeria, 16% of respondents stated they have played a P2E game, with another 16.9% planning to do so in the future. In South Africa, around 10.2% said they played an NFT game, with 10.6% said they are planning to do so in the future.
