According to a source, Gunnercooke, a commercial law firm based in the United Kingdom, has become the latest practice to accept cryptocurrencies as payment for services. The firm also claims to be one of the first large legal companies in the UK to provide payment choices to customers.
According to a Law Society Gazette report, Gunnercooke would now route any such payments through Coinpass, a registered cryptocurrency exchange platform. According to the report, Attestant, a cryptocurrency transaction verification service, is one of the law firm’s bitcoin-paying clients.
In his statements following the legal firm’s public declaration that it will accept cryptocurrencies, Naseer Patel, financial director at Gunnercooke, explained why the firm reached this decision.
It’s a wrap for this story.
