Gourmeta announces to host world’s first fine-dining NFT concept auction

Gourmeta, the world’s first fine-dining non-fungible token (NFT) idea, has announced the dates for its NFT dining auctions. The idea was developed in partnership with two Michelin-starred restaurants in Hong Kong: Ando and MONO. On May 14 and 21, the two auctions will be conducted.

Jamie Lewis, CEO of Ioconic and Co-founder of Gourmeta, said in a statement, “We are pleased to have a collection of forward-looking specialists from both the blockchain and F&B worlds on board, and explore the endless possibilities inherent in tokenizing and digitising dining experiences for people.”

Gourmeta reports that selected NFT bidders will have privileged access to Ando and MONO’s fine-dining experiences. Early NFT adopters will also be involved in project management.

All NFTs are created on the Ethereum blockchain and may be traded on the OpenSea platform and other NFT exchanges, according to the company.

Gourmeta intends to release further information on their tokenomics in the fourth quarter of 2022.

About Gourmeta

Gourmeta was first introduced in Hong Kong in April 2022. In 2021, it was co-founded by Kenetic, a Hong Kong-based blockchain venture capital firm, and Ioconic, a UK-based digital asset firm.

Gourmeta explained that the objective behind fine-dining NFTs was to tokenize culinary experiences so that individuals could obtain great dining experiences. The firm also intends to grow internationally. Gourmeta is now preparing to start projects in Singapore, London, and New York.
