ALTBalaji and MXPlayer have teamed up to produce Lock Upp: Badass Jail, Atyaachari Khel, their first digital reality programme. Ekta Kapoor premiered the programme in Mumbai. It will be broadcast live 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and will feature 16 famous candidates imprisoned behind bars, with the host serving as the severe jailer. A Bollywood star is hosting Lock Upp.
Lock Upp is billed as the world’s greatest and most daring reality programme, in which 16 controversial celebrities are locked up for months and stripped of their personal belongings. It’s billed as the first metaverse-based fantasy game in the world.
She complimented the program’s presenter, adding, “Lock Upp is being released on a large scale and contains all of the ingredients that make for a fun reality show. Ekta congratulated the crew by saying best of luck to them, on adding to that she said she is pretty confident that “Lock Upp will go down in history as a smash hit”.
