The Dogecoin price suddenly rose after Elon Musk used drones to send a ‘Shiba Inu mascot’ into the night sky during the inaugural event for the Texas Gigafactory called Cyber Rodeo.
Cyber Rodeo event effect on Dogecoin price
The event was dubbed “Cyber Rodeo” because a slew of neon-lighted displays was set up and autonomous drones were deployed to create a light show in the sky. It was created to commemorate the launch of Tesla’s most recent Gigafactory in Texas.
The event began at 4 p.m. Texas time, less than two weeks after Tesla launched the first Gigafactory in Europe. The total number of Tesla Gigafactories throughout the world is now six, including Shanghai and plants in numerous U.S. states. Several people observed a drone-created mascot of the original meme cryptocurrency Dogecoin during the event.
As the footage of Shiba Inu emerging in the dark sky during the Tesla celebration spread through numerous Twitter accounts, the Dogecoin price quickly increased by more than 5% to $0.1527 earlier today.
Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and a Dogecoin supporter, has warned that the launch event might turn out to be the largest party on earth.
Elon Musk Twitter partnership and Dogecoin plans
Earlier this week, reports suggested that Tesla CEO Elon Musk has joined the Twitter Board of Directors after revealing the purchase of 9.2 percent shares in Twitter, representing 73.5 million TWTR shares.
Many Dogecoin Army members believe that Musk will incorporate DOGE into Twitter by adding a DOGE tipping option (tipping in BTC and ETH has already been implemented by the social network) or in some other way.
