Outland, a new Los Angeles-based crypto arts platform, has raised $5 million in its first seed round in March 2022. The company announced the funding on June 19. OKG Ventures, IMO Ventures, Dragon Roark, and JDAC Capital have all made investments in the burgeoning Web3 culture.
Outland, which debuted in February 2022, has sparked interest from people interested in both crypto technology and classical arts all across the world. Elemental, the first platform project, is a series of NFT works by Fang Lijun, a well-known Chinese artist. Elemental has accumulated more than 4,000 ETH in primary and secondary sales and has maintained a strong position in the top OpenSea charts since its launch, making it one of the much-anticipated 2022 NFT projects.
Outland unveiled an important NFT collaboration with American artist James Jean in April 2022. Jean, a program artist, developed a PFP collection of 7,000 five-minute editions during a public sale, making 3,700 ETH in total. On the future website https://www.adriftworld.io/, the second wave of James Jean and Outland’s collaboration will be released. This will be the first time in history that a series of narrative, repetitive, and collaborative NFT activities create their own cinematic atmosphere.
Due to its international vision and foresight, Outland will continue to spread its influence as the first NFT platform composed of monitors, critics, and specialists from the arts. Outland establishes a standard of collaboration within the Web3 culture through its leadership and support of artists from all walks of life.
