Apexaverse, which is built on the Cardano blockchain, aims to enter in the world of web3, the Metaverse, P2E games, and NFTs. The project’s goal is to create a diverse and dynamic ecosystem with interactive experiences for players, where they can fight, cooperate, learn new skills, and gain profit.
The project’s team explained that they want to capitalise on the gaming landscape by bringing blockchain-based experiences to the Metaverse, allowing for greater decentralisation and security.
The play-to-earn functionality, which allows users to earn tokens by playing specific games, and the NFT collections should provide the necessary boost and distinguish the protocol from its competitors.
The game will be accessible via browsers as well as Android and iOS devices. Players will be able to compete in various digital worlds while earning NFTs.
The platform will be powered by its own utility token, AXV. It will be implemented in a variety of ways, including as a medium of exchange within the Metaverse, allowing users to buy, sell, trade, and modify in-game assets.
Furthermore, the token will be used as a point of entry into various areas of the Metaverse, as well as for accessing new quests and levelling up. Customers would be able to earn money through GameHubs, a Staking Platform, an NFT Marketplace, and other means, according to the team.
Apexaverse stated that it chose Cardano due to its recent rapid growth and the pure PoS consensus protocol (Ouroboros), which allows private and randomly selected stake pool leaders to proportionally distribute their stakes in order to generate new blocks.
