Cardano adds this improvement to reduce network congestion during DeFi projects rollout

Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson has tweeted about a new GitHub release that provides Cardano node v1.33.0 compatibility. Cardano will continue to upgrade nodes in the next weeks to address transactional volume on DeFi project launches.

SundaeSwap debuted on January 20, marking a watershed moment in the ADA ecosystem as the first DApp to use the platform’s smart contracts. SundaeSwap, Cardano’s decentralised exchange (DEX) and token staking platform, now allows traders to make swaps and add liquidity, while network congestion has hampered transaction processing.

With an emphasis on optimization, scaling, and network growth, Cardano has entered the Basho phase. A proposal to raise Plutus script memory units to 12.5 million was previously published by U. Today. On Tuesday, Jan. 25, five days after the start of the update proposal process, the first change will take effect.

Improvements in Plutus’ memory/cpu parameters are still one of the 11 methods Cardano plans to scale in 2022.

That’s all from Cardano for now.
