The Boba Network has confirmed the release of WAGMI v2, the next edition of the WAGMI incentives scheme, which is intended to increase BOBA liquidity mining, community expansion, and developer engagement. The purpose of WAGMI v2 is to simply provide additional benefits for utilising Boba dApps. WAGMI v2 is available from April 1, 2022.
The WAGMI incentive programme has effectively accelerated the expansion of the Boba Network since its launch, with over 30 projects now growing on the network, using the platform’s features like ultra-fast transaction speeds and low gas rates.
While announcing the release of WAGMI v2, Mr Alan Chiu, the founder of Boba Network said the following:
“We are excited to announce the introduction of WAGMI v2, in which we are introducing Boba Network dApp-specific goals that will eventually dramatically increase our network’s transactions count. These enhancements and upgrades include a considerably expanded reward pool, as well as awards for developers and users of our top dApps, which will be assessed by defining project-specific KPIs.”
New features in WAGMI v2 over WAGMI v1
- The rewards pool will be increased by up to USD 3 million in BOBA, with USD 2 million going to liquidity providers and USD 1 million going to a bonus incentive pool.
- dApp-specific KPIs and range expansion, allowing users to earn incentives for loaning money, swapping, bridging, trading, and many more other incentives like prizes, and airdrops.
- A shorter redemption term, with WAGMI tokens redeemable in 30 days rather than 60 days.
