Bandai Namco project with Gundam metaverse
Bandai Namco, Japanese gaming development and publisher organization, has provided additional information regarding the future of its USD 130 million metaverse project. According to the details, Gundam, the iconic gigantic robot universe with so many video games, manga, and animation versions, will be the first IP to undergo the metaverse treatment. Bandai Namco used the third Gundam conference to share the news with the rest of the globe.

In this project, fans will be able to join as various communities like music, video games, animation, and even Gunpla, the models that resemble various robots from the franchise. Furthermore, the corporation announced that users would be able to scan their Gunpla models in order to introduce them to the metaverse and engage in battle with other Gunpla users.
Bandai Namco’s initial metaverse occurrence will be utilised to attract the attention of other corporations, promoting their entry into the Gundam market within the metaverse. As a result, other firms may be able to produce Gundam-themed items with the agreement of Bandai Namco.
In the new project plans, consumers will also be able to create their original Gundam content via the customer-to-customer (C2C) trade. This feature aims to enable users to earn money from their own contributions, enabling the establishment of a sustainable economy among content producers and consumers.
