Koi Metaverse launched its INO on April 12, 2022. The INO was held as part of a cooperation with ChainGuardians and Chainboost on the Binance Smart Chain. In total, 700 NFTs of virtual koi fish were made available for purchase on BSCStation and another 700 on ChainGuardians, for a total of 1,400 virtual koi fish accessible for purchase.
Users had to fulfil a few rules laid forward by Chainboost in order to participate in the offer. They had to first go to the Chainboost website and link their cryptocurrency wallets. After that, users needed to satisfy Chainboost’s KYC procedures and then express their interest on the Koi metaverse page.
Those who already owned Koi NFTs from Phase 1 of the Genesis Collection Offering might get a KOI private round allocation based on a random block snapshot.
Because Koi GameFi’s business strategy is mainly based on NFTs, the NFTs that are made available for purchase will be part of the greater Koi GameFi universe. On April 15, 2022, at 9 a.m. UTC, Koi Metaverse will begin an NFT sale on its website, in addition to the INO. There will be 600 NFTs available during this sale, as well as mystery boxes containing up to $150 in BNB apiece. Unlike the INO, there will be no KYC requirements for this sale, though customers will be limited to purchasing a total of 20 goods.
