Zebec, a cryptocurrency settlement business, revealed on Tuesday that it had raised $15 million in a Series A round of funding.
In a round headed by Solana Ventures and Distributed Global, Zebec, which developed a Solana-based protocol for continuous, real-time settlement of financial transactions, raised the cash. Alameda Research, Circle, Coinbase Ventures, Lightspeed Venture Partners, and DST Global were among the other investors in the round.
According to the company, the fresh funds will be utilised to continue scaling Zebec’s protocol. The Zebec protocol was created with the goal of making it simpler for users to send and receive payments on a regular basis. Zebec, backed by a $6 million fundraising round and a payroll-focused software, debuted on the Solana mainnet in November last year. Breyer Capital, Republic Capital, and Shima Capital were the leading investors in that round.
Its a wrap for this story.
