Users will earn NFTs by completing missions in Stellar Quest Learn

Stellar (XLM) users may now earn NFTs by performing tough missions in Stellar Quest Learn, a gamified educational experience. This comes at a time when people are becoming more aware of cryptocurrencies and the demand for crypto education is expanding. The news was announced on the Twitter platform.

Demand for crypto education is expanding

The Stellar Development Foundation (SDF) and Wirex, a leading cryptocurrency payments platform based in the United Kingdom, recently released a poll that revealed a growing understanding and use of cryptos for cross-border payment transactions in four major markets: the United States, the United Kingdom, Mexico, and Singapore.

Frustration with the current system is driving the shift to cryptocurrency as a payment option, with 53% of those polled saying they paid more in fees for foreign transfers using traditional methods. Furthermore, the poll results, which were compiled from almost 10,000 consumers, debunked various myths regarding cryptocurrencies knowledge and usage, demonstrating that cryptocurrency awareness is at an all-time high.

Denelle Dixon, Stellar’s CEO and executive director said the followings:

“….The findings back up what we’ve observed… As a speedier and less expensive alternative to the conventional banking systems, consumers are adopting these new forms of transmitting funds cross-border….”

Other developments with Stellar

With an expanding number of Stellar anchors linking fiat currencies to Stellar-issued stablecoins, Stellar is positioning itself as an interconnection layer for a wide spectrum of financial institutions.

Starbridge, a Stellar-Ethereum link with a little trust, was just launched. Starbridge will begin by collaborating with Ethereum, where a significant amount of DeFi is presently being built. When local assets are placed into the bridge, they will be locked up in an account or contract.
