Uniswap ($UN), a leading decentralised exchange, has developed an interface that enables users to swap ERC-20 tokens on the Ethereum blockchain and donate them to the Ukrainian government in a single transaction.
In the face of a Russian assault on multiple fronts, the Ukrainian government stated late last month that it would accept cryptocurrency donations. The troubled country first accepted Bitcoin ($BTC), Ethereum ($ETH), and $USDT, according to a post from Ukraine’s official Twitter account.
The post was accompanied by addresses for individuals wishing to donate to the country’s efforts to repel the Russian invasion, including civilian and military help. The new Uniswap interface streamlines the donation process by allowing users to easily exchange tokens for ETH and give them without incurring additional transaction costs.
The address supplied by the Ukrainian government appears to be for a centralised cryptocurrency exchange that “appears to take just USDT and ETH,” according to Uniswap. Uniswap’s interface was built to allow donations in various coins.
