According to Github statistics, Uniswap, Solana, and Cardano are among the top three quickest developed assets, according to on-chain analytics firm Santiment. Cardano took third place in development activity, with 325 significant Github submissions each day from its developers. With 1,260 Github uploads each day, Uniswap continues to be the fastest-developing project on the market, while Solana takes second place.
The Santiment metric collects statistics on development from thousands of public Github repositories. The higher a project ranks in the ranking, the more users contribute to it. While development activity has little to no impact on short-term market value, it could be an indicator of the project’s long-term viability. In 2021, Cardano was ranked top among the most developed assets.
According to CoinMarketCap data, Solana, a public blockchain platform with smart contract functionality, portrays itself as an Ethereum killer and ranks sixth in cryptocurrencies by market capitalization. According to the most recent statistics published by IOHK, Cardano saw massive growth in 2022, with approximately 900 projects already using the cryptocurrency.
Cardano just achieved a crucial interoperability milestone with the launch of Milkomeda, an EVM-compatible Layer 2 protocol. The bridge enables assets to be sent back and forth between the two blockchains. Milkomeda plans to strive toward sidechain and multi-blockchain interoperability.
