At the event, Alexander Bornyakov, Deputy Minister of Ukrainian Digital Transformation for IT Development, attended as an observer.
According to the release, the primary objective of this initiative is to develop a pan-European blockchain. This will result in greater digital economic cooperation between the EU and Ukraine. However, the country intends to develop its interstate blockchain network in partnership with other nations.
In an attempt to gain support, Ukraine has escalated its efforts to join the EU. According to estimates, the nation raised over $130 million in cryptocurrency from throughout the globe.
During the month of March, “Aid for Ukraine” raised around $60 million from contributors. However, the current collapse of the worldwide market for digital assets has devalued the money collected by Ukraine
Also, Alexander Bornyakov remarked that the integration of the European Blockchain Partnership and Ukraine would boost the technology implementation in government services. This will also foster a structured regulatory framework encompassing the virtual assets market.
