Ubersmith, a subscription management software firm based in New York, now takes Shiba Inu payments using BitPay.
This means that Ubersmith users can now take Shiba Inu payments as well as other BitPay-supported cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Ethereum (ETH), DogeCoin (DOGE), Litecoin (LTC), Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC), and USD-pegged stablecoins (BUSD, DAI, GUSD, USDC and USDP).
These are in addition to the various currencies that Ubersmith users throughout the world use. Support for BitPay is available as an add-on to the Ubersmith software suite, which includes billing, taxes, discounts, and account credits, and may be hosted or self-hosted. Ubersmith provides enterprises with billing, infrastructure, and ticketing solutions, and its services are used by over 100 companies on six continents. According to reports, Digital Realty, Namecheap, Sitey, and WOW are among Ubersmith’s customers.
BitPay began supporting the Shiba Inu coin in late 2021, allowing SHIB to be used at hundreds of BitPay merchants that accept Shiba Inu. SlingTV, the American Cancer Society, Newegg, Menufy, the Carolina Hurricanes, and Twitch are just a few of the prominent firms that currently accept SHIB via BitPay.
In the meantime, crypto acceptance continues to climb. According to a recent survey conducted by the Gemini cryptocurrency exchange, about 50% of cryptocurrency owners joined the market last year.
