Aleksander Leonard Larsen, co-founder as well as COO of Sky Mavis software development company, discusses a multi-directional bug bounty programme aimed at improving the security of its Axie Infinity and Ronin Network services. The Axie Infinity team has launched a seven-figure reward to put the game, wallet, extensions, and more to the test under the bug bounty programme.
Axie Infinity Bug bounty programme
Mr Larsen has turned to Twitter to ask all blockchain white-hat hackers to participate in a bug reporting campaign organised by Sky Mavis. He has included a description of the products that will be put for tests under the programme. Sky Mavis’ primary product and marketplace, as well as browser extensions, PC and mobile applications, and a native wallet, are all included.
Technical weaknesses, EVM issues, economic assaults, scalability flaws, and numerous types of malicious interference are among the priority vulnerabilities.
$1 million rewards in AXS tokens
Web and app faults will be rewarded with $50 to $15,000 in AXS tokens, while on-chain bug disclosure gets compensated with a record-breaking payout of $1,000,000 in AXS tokens.
Conditions for participants
Players in the bug bounty programme should avoid spamming, phishing, spoofing, DDoS assaults, and physical attacks against Sky Mavis property or data centres, according to the Sky Mavis team.
Axie Infinity’s sidechain Ronin Network was attacked on March 29, 2022, resulting in losses of almost $625,000,000 in equivalent.
