Snoop Dogg shares twitter space with Ethereum CEO, all set to release concert in The Sandbox

Snoop Dogg released a new music video in the blockchain-based game The Sandbox, where he will also perform a virtual metaverse concert later this year, and confirmed an impending Twitter Spaces meeting with Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson.

Snoop Dogg also known as Cozomo de’ Medici, a notable non-fungible token (NFT) collector, has been active with all things crypto recently. In a recent statement by The Sandbox’s parent company Animoca Brands today “House I Built,” from Snoop Dogg’s latest album B.O.D.R., is the “very first music video produced in The Sandbox metaverse,”.

“The ‘House I Built’ single makes a link between how I’ve developed my life and career and how I’m building out my Snoopverse virtual world in the Snoopverse,” the rapper revealed.

In the video, Snoop Dogg is depicted as a pixelated 3D avatar, similar to those seen in Minecraft, and was built utilising the platform’s free content creation tools VoxEdit and Game Maker. DJs Blondish and Steve Aoki appear as special guests in the video.

Meanwhile, the music video is a warm-up act for Snoop Dogg’s full-fledged virtual concert, which will take place “later this year” at The Sandbox.

Snoop Dogg also confirmed today that he will join Charles Hoskinson, the creator of the Cardano blockchain and a co-founder of Ethereum, on Twitter Spaces on April 5—and that “this will be great.”

Hoskinson, for his part, confirmed this, saying, “Yes, I’ll be with Snoop on the 5th.” “I have the best job in the world,” says the narrator.

At least a portion of the conversation will reportedly be devoted to Snoop Dogg’s new association with Cardano-based platform Clay Nation, which will “bring you classic memorabilia, unreleased songs, & limited edition ‘pitches’.”

Clay Nation previously released—and quickly sold out—a collection of “original handcrafted Clay NFTs” that also serve as “admission to Clay Nation Festival & metaverse moulding.”
