Yes, you read it right. Now digital weed is coming to the metaverse and thanks to Snoop Dogg. As part of the release, Mobland will release a limited collection of Snoop Dogg branded digital cannabis farm NFTs as well as some exclusive content from Champ Medici.
In addition to being a hip-hop artist and music entrepreneur, Snoop Dogg is one of the most vocal members of the crypto sector. Snoop has shifted his focus to Mobland, a prominent mafia-themed metaverse considered the crypto version of the cult video game Mafia Wars, after erecting a virtual facsimile of his real-life estate and holding a virtual concert in The Sandbox.
Mobland is backed by some of the greatest names in business, including Terra co-founder Do Kwon, Twitch co-founder Justin Kan, and Animoca Brands. Snoop Dogg isn’t the only one connected to the fast-growing metaverse.
The metaverse allows players to participate in daily events and games, including cross-chain contests, in addition to being a virtual gathering area. The Mobland development team has been progressively providing new business features and land uses, with the launch of digital cannabis farms being the most recent example.
Snoop Dogg’s digital pot farm NFTs will be utilised to promote the upcoming release of company structures in Mobland later this quarter. According to Mobland, the addition of business buildings will change the current metaverse design.
Mobland will also release exclusive content from Champ Medici, a popular NFT creator, as part of its association with Snoop Dogg. Snoop believes the metaverse is undergoing a paradigm shift, and teaming up with Mobland and Champ Medici gave him the opportunity to be at the vanguard of it.
