Shiba Inu offers new functionality for “SHIB: The Metaverse”

Shiba Inu introduces new functionality for SHIB ‘The Metaverse’. Now, users can affix images and brand names to property holdings.

According to recent updates posted by the official SHIB Twitter handle, SHIB: The Metaverse land auction event has finally begun. As the auction event begins, a Twitter user dedicated to the Shiba Inu community, @shibainuart, has also provided information on new functionality for Shiba Inu in SHIB: The Metaverse.

SHIB will be used to add images and logos to the parcels of land. When images are altered, the functionality will also burn SHIB. SHIB may be used to name or rename land parcels while also burning SHIB each time, fostering a SHIB identity in the environment. SHIB will be utilised to lease HUBS as well. The highest prized lands (blocked/reserved places) in the whole space are HUBS.

SHIB burns and renaming will also be accessible at the public auction stage, following the conclusion of both the bid and holder event phases. The Shiba Inu team promises to inform the community when the functionality is ready.

During the SHIB: The Metaverse’s initial phase, 36,431 pieces of land will be opened, revealing sections of four separate districts: the Growth District, Defense District, Technology District, and Currencies District. SHIB: The Metaverse will have a total of 100,595 plots of land.

SHIB gained more than 20% in response to the Robinhood listing news and is currently trading at $0.00002636 at press time (16:40 IST).

According to WhaleStats, the 12th largest Ethereum whale on the Ethereum network has bought 775 billion tokens, making it one of the greatest Shiba Inu purchases in recent days.

Previously, the Ethereum network’s largest whale, who owns a record-breaking quantity of SHIB tokens, acquired a minor amount of tokens worth $6 million. Other significant investors, in addition to a whale called “Light,” were aggressively acquiring the token prior to its listing.

Ubersmith, a New York-based subscription management software firm, now accepts Shiba Inu via BitPay support. BitPay officially began accepting the SHIB currency in late 2021, allowing SHIB to be used at hundreds of BitPay shops that accept Shiba Inu. SlingTV, the American Cancer Society, Newegg, Menufy, the Carolina Hurricanes, and Twitch are among the prominent firms that now take SHIB via BitPay.
