Secret Network, which provides data privacy for smart contracts, has announced a collaboration with dYmension, which will give the tools and infrastructure to network and aggregate Cosmos ecosystem layer 2 data, lowering on-site traffic and boosting derivability.
The dYmension blockchain platform is the Cosmos ecosystem’s first settlement layer to enable entrenched rollups. A rollup is a scaling solution that is built into the protocol logic, resulting in considerable cost and scalability gains.
Yishay Harel, CEO of dYmension, highlighted his desire to discover novel scaling solutions so that the company could continue to grow.
The Secret Network is the first blockchain that provides data privacy by default, allowing users to create and utilise permissionless and privacy-preserving apps. Using Tendermint’s Byzantine fault-tolerant consensus mechanism of Proof of Equity (PoE), this unique capability protects users, secures apps, and enables hundreds of new use cases for Web3 .
Guy Zyskind, CEO of SCRT Labs, stated regarding the collaboration:
“Secret Network’s user base has grown astronomically in the past few years, and the blockchain becomes more complex with that kind of growth. We want to continue to be the platform people use to build on Cosmos and to do that, we must ensure our platform keeps operating flawlessly.”
