He announced that TX will support the Ukrainian Ministry of Finance and other groups in collecting crypto donations for the country. Across $60 million in cryptocurrency contributions have been sent to the Ukrainian government from all over the world.
The CEO of FTX, Sam Bankman Fried, said that the war in Ukraine is still ongoing. The nation urgently needs humanitarian support as well as access to global financial infrastructure. He said that cryptocurrency exchanges should take the government’s announced measures seriously. Previously, the CEO of FTX highlighted the rise of the cryptocurrency ecosystem in Ukraine as well as how fiat currencies have become less expensive as a result of the Russian invasion.
