On Tuesday, January 25, Ryan Wyatt, YouTube’s head of gaming, revealed that he would leave the company next month. As per his latest tweet, he has accepted the vacant position at Polygon Studios as CEO. Mr. Wyatt was excited about his new position as CEO of Polygon Studios.
The rapid growth of the crypto market coupled with innovative new blockchain technology has enticed some of the greatest IT professionals. On the other hand, Polygon is one of the most rapidly increasing Layer-2 Ethereum scalability strategies.
According to YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki, cryptocurrency and NFTs have some interesting potential, resulting in new synergies between creators and their viewers. Wojcicki wrote in an open letter explaining YouTube’s 2022 plans:
“We’re always focused on expanding the YouTube ecosystem to help creators capitalize on emerging technologies, including things like NFTs, while continuing to strengthen and enhance the experiences creators and fans have on YouTube.”
