According to the burn tracking tool Shibburn, numerous members of the worldwide SHIB army have locked up a stunning number of Shiba Inu in unspendable wallets over the last 24 hours. Over 500 million meme tokens have been moved to dead-end wallets.
Meanwhile, whales’ purchase activity relating to SHIB has increased by about 25%, indicating that their Shiba Inu stockpile has increased.
The most recent single transactions were 93,303,458 SHIB 22 hours ago and 82,140,154 four hours ago. The burn rate, on the other hand, has decreased by 26.99 percent.
Over the last seven days, 22 billion SHIB have been burned, and 667 million canine tokens have been permanently trapped in unspendable wallets.
Whales adding SHIB
According to WhaleStats, an on-chain analytics service that tracks the top 100 wallets on Ethereum, Polygon, and other chains, Ethereum whales have added about $200 million worth of Shiba Inu to their holdings in the last 24 hours.
They had a total of $588,788,065 in SHIB on May 23. This sum has now climbed to the equivalent of $833,034,530 in Shiba Inu, according to the main page of the WhaleStats website.
The proportion of SHIB in Whales’ diversified portfolio has risen from 12.16 percent to 15.86 percent.
