Oracle Red Bull Racing announces 2022 NFT Collection at Monaco Grand Prix

Oracle Red Bull Racing is prepared to bring its supporters even closer with the release of its second range of digital collectibles, commencing with an auction during the Monaco Grand Prix on May 26 at 6 a.m. UK time and ending at 11:59 p.m. UK time on May 31.

Collaboration of Oracle Red Bull Racing NFTs with Tezos blockchain and Bybit

Oracle Red Bull Racing NFTs would be mined on the Tezos blockchain and made available on Bybit’s NFT Marketplace. Bidding will take place on the Bybit NFT Marketplace (https://go.bybit.com/e/eoEuhjZalqb), with bidders required to bid at minimum 5% higher than the previous top bid.

This will bring together 2 of the important Partners of the team for the first time. Season 2 of Oracle Red Bull Racing’s NFTs will engage supporters of the Team and its great experiences through a collection of limited-edition digital collectibles, each representing a unique facet of Oracle Red Bull Racing’s past, present, and future.

Oracle Red Bull Racing NFTs to be auctioned during the Monaco Grand Prix

The 2022 NFT collection will begin with the introduction of a truly different collectible, which will be auctioned off during the Monaco Grand Prix. During the race weekend, a one-of-a-kind Monaco-edition Playseat simulator rig would be on show and will see some racing excitement with racers and Red Bull Athlete. Simultaneously, an NFT auction will be held, with the top bidder acquiring both a digital edition of the seat for their memorabilia collections and the chance to claim the real Playseat from the Monaco Energy Station. The proceeds from the Playseat will be donated to Wings for Life, a non-profit spinal cord research organisation dedicated to finding a cure for spinal cord damage. Future collectibles will be disclosed immediately before each drop.

Tezos is a pioneering, ever-evolving open-source blockchain for assets and applications that harnesses the potential of blockchain in a safe, expandable, upgradeable, and sustainable manner.

Principle Team Partner Bybit will publish the items on its industry-leading NFT platform for the first time. The latest Oracle Red Bull Racing digital collectibles will also be featured in the NFT marketplace. Bybit was founded in March 2018 and is now the fastest-growing cryptocurrency exchange, providing cryptocurrency traders with a super-fast matching engine, unique online market and trading services, mining and staking products, and multilingual community support.

Oracle Red Bull Racing Team Principal and CEO Christian Horner said:

“The season 2 of our highly sought-after digital collectibles follows our aim to place Oracle Red Bull Racing at the centre of everything we do – on the track, in the garage, and in the factory. Each limited-edition sculpture depicts a period in time for the Team in spectacular detail and is intended to involve fans in our world, our drive for success, and significant events from the Team’s history. As a result, it’s only right that we debut the current collection in Monaco. We can provide limited edition pieces of future F1 legacy to our fans throughout the world in an immersive, accessible, and affordable way because of our cutting-edge collaborations with Bybit and Tezos, pioneers in the intriguing digital asset field.”

Bybit Co-Founder and CEO Ben Zhou said:
