Brazil digital banking platform Nubank all set to launch Bitcoin, Ethereum on its trading platform

On May 11, Nubank (NUBR33), a Sao Paulo-based, digital banking platform, said that it will provide users with a platform for the buying and selling of crypto assets through its application. At first, only Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) will be available, with a minimum investment of R $1 by the end of June 2022.

Long linked with digital currency, Nubank, whose parent organisation, Nu Holdings Ltd, is listed on the New York Stock Exchange, said its entrance into the crypto exchange space will assist with working on the exchange system for financial backers.

The exchanging will happen in-application, and existing Nubank clients won’t have to open new records to get to the crypto exchanging connection point.

David Vélez, CEO and founder of Nubank, stated:

“There is no doubt that crypto is a growing trend in Latin America, one that we have been following closely and believe will have a transformational impact on the region. Yet the trading experience is still very niche. Customers either lack information to feel confident in entering this new market or just get frustrated by complex experiences. “

On adding to that :

“At Nubank, we aim to empower our customers by putting them in control of their money. Therefore, we built an experience that was simple and intuitive enough to broaden access to new segments while being robust and powerful for the more crypto-savvy.”

The firm said its new item offering is in collaboration with Paxos, a digital asset stage that will act as its guardianship and business accomplice. The two organisations engaged in the exchange demonstrate how Nubank desires to investigate every possibility concerning effortlessness and security for its clients in general.
