Nium, a Singapore-based fintech startup, announced its new product Crypto Accept on April 6 at the Bitcoin Conference 2022. Crypto Accept is an API-based solution that allows global businesses to accept cryptocurrency payments.
According to the press release, Nium Crypto Accept now accepts Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) payments, with ambitions to add other currencies by 2023. As a result, online merchants may accept cryptocurrency payments without being concerned about price volatility. Instead, payment is made immediately into their bank account the next business day in USD or another major fiat currency.
“Consumers own over $3 trillion in cryptocurrencies and are seeking new places to spend them online. Crypto Accept allows retailers to quickly and securely improve their digital commerce experiences in order to offer customers who want additional payment choices”, Senior Vice President, Joaquin Ayuso de Paul, commented.
Nium has partnered with BitPay, the leading supplier of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency payment services, to give businesses a secure and simple option to accept crypto payments online. Customers may finish their purchase by scanning a QR code at the checkout to select their chosen crypto wallet.
