NFT-Maker, a Cardano- based NFT marketplace, has hit an important milestone of 900,000 minutes and 30 million ADA redistributed among platform creators. Because of the growing popularity of the Cardano network in general, such a huge allocation of funds among authors was possible.
According to the release, approximately 900,000 NFT projects were created on the NFT-Maker platform. The rise in the number of minted pieces of non-fungible art and projects is linked to the expansion of the Cardano network as well as the resurgence of the NFT industry.
LooksRare, a platform comparable to NFT-Maker, earlier reported a rapid increase in trade volume, user count, and new projects coming on the network. A series of hacks and exploits on the industry’s previous largest platform, OpenSea, resulted in a major outflow of funds and projects from the marketplace that required a new home. Others joined Cardano-powered solutions, while some chose an alternative on the same network.
The NFT-Maker platform, according to their website, contains capabilities such as mass minting, developer API, on-demand minting, and other quality of life add-ons.
The network’s expansion has an effect on the price of the underlying asset—ADA. Since March’s low, the coin has gained more than 50%, demonstrating the network’s fundamental growth. Aside from a price hike, the total worth of cash trapped in ADA smart contracts surpassed $300 million.
