For a hefty prize of $70,000, NASA is looking for ambitious and inventive programmers who can come up with the greatest design for the epic Martian Metaverse.
The prize fund for NASA’s MarsXR challenge is a whopping $70,000! So, if you’re a developer looking to contribute to a larger concept or goal, now is the time to join the MarsXR challenge.
There are five categories and twenty-five distinctions in which the creators can construct their own scenarios or locations. There would be four prize winners. Each category winner will receive $6,000.
The deadline for applications, according to NASA’s schedule, is July 26. The winner will be announced on September 27, 2022, after a two-month evaluation period. Around 266 innovators and 25 teams have already signed up for the challenge.
For Martian Day, NASA has released detailed facts about Mars. Weather conditions, colour, and hues are included, as well as 400 square kilometres of visually appealing and realistic terrain found on Mars.
