Nansen announces blockchain-based messaging app “Nansen Connect”

Nansen, a Singapore-based crypto analytics firm, has launched a new cryptocurrency communications centre for web3 natives on June 15.

“Nansen Connect” will be a messaging platform with complete blockchain compatibility and analytic access.

Nansen announced the launch by tweeting:

The newly established communication centre, according to Nansen, will focus on ethical disclosure, making user blockchain data visible, promoting accountability, and improving community building.
The transformation of Nansen from an information organisation into a social networking site web3 has begun with this development.

What does Nansen Connect bring to the table?

Users can connect with their crypto wallets, choose a username based on their labels, send private messages to other users, and join various groups based on the value of their crypto holds using Nansen Connect.
Surprisingly, the Nansen team seeks to maximise app performance, among other things, by allowing users to create new teams and enable over-the-counter (OTC) trading.
Nansen has chosen to incorporate features based on the importance of meaningful interaction in the overall growth of the bitcoin industry.
In a statement, Paul Harwood, Product Manager at Nansen, said the project would allow crypto-related communities to filter out noise within their positions because high-profile owners would be easily identified.

Paul further explained:

“Retail investors will have the opportunity to speak with some of the industry’s largest whales, allowing them to participate in crucial discussions, while top performers will be able to form groups of the world’s most lucrative people to discuss strategy.”

Motive behind Nansen Connect

One of the motives for this program is to help reduce the high rate of market fraud, which has caused damage to the global crypto ecosystem.
Nansen users will be able to join groups based on their crypto-currency holdings, read non-token (NFT) token collections, and switch between wallet profiles and chat locations once the service is launched.
In the meantime, Nansen subscribers and other NFT executives, such as BAYC and Moonbirds, will be allowed to use this service.
Nansen Connect, according to Nansen Product Manager, will not only change the way members of the crypto community communicate, but will also promote accountability and strengthen industry relationships.
