April 18, 2024 — Nana Murugesan, previously the Vice President for Business Development, International, and Listings at Coinbase, has taken on a new role as President at Matter Labs, a company dedicated to developing Ethereum scaling solutions. At Matter Labs, Murugesan will oversee operations encompassing marketing, communication, finance, and legal aspects.
Nana Murugesan brings extensive experience from his previous roles, including as Managing Director of International Markets and Mobile Partnerships at Snap, and a nine-year tenure as Vice President and General Manager for Services and New Business at Samsung Electronics. His multidisciplinary background in electrical and computer engineering, along with business administration, prepares him well for his new leadership position.
Murugesan’s appointment is poised to drive significant advancements in blockchain technology scaling. He will lead the firm’s strategic operations, focusing on expanding Matter Labs’ innovative engineering solutions and enhancing their go-to-market strategies.
