Moonpay has partnered with MetaMask to enable its users to purchase Ethereum in crypto wallets using mainstream payment methods like fiat currency. MetaMask users may now utilise Moonpay services to refill their cryptocurrency wallets. While Moonpay is a renowned payment service and MetaMask is a leading crypto wallet service provider. With this partnership, MoonPay has gained access to over 30 million Metamask users worldwide.
Moonpay has also announced the collaboration information on Twitter which features simple slides explaining how the mobile versions of both platforms may work together.

The goal of Moonpay is to make the entire crypto world simpler and bring it on board with web 3. To achieve the goal it has recently announced partnerships with OpenSea and Selfridges. The current partnership with MetaMask appears to be in the direction of its goal.

Previously, one had to buy Ethereum on an external exchange and then transfer it to MetaMask platform. MoonPay has now streamlined the procedure and integrated its service with the Metamask interface. For using the newly created streamlined services, all users will need to update to the latest version of MetaMask, Mobile v4.4 or higher and Extension v10.13, to allow MoonPay payment.
Users may immediately add funds to their MetaMask crypto wallets via MoonPay. It has eliminated the need for external centralised exchanges.
