On June 2, Kiya.ai announced the debut of Kiyaverse, India’s first banking metaverse. Kiyaverse is a pioneer in combining real-world banking with Metaverse banking via avatar (virtual humanoid) interactions. Kiyaverse will allow open finance, as with this, banks can expand their banking space in Metaverse for partners, clients, and staff in the first phase. Now, banks can offer services such as Relationship Managers and Peer Avatars, as well as Robo-advisors.

Kiyaverse plans to use NFTs and integrate CBDC, allowing open finance in a Web 3.0 setting. Kiyaverse will establish a metaverse Super-App and Marketplace by connecting its Open API connections to aggregators and gateways. Kiyaverse will allow near-real-world interaction via the internet of senses with the release of haptics-equipped headsets.
Kiya.ai MD and CEO Rajesh Mirjankar remarked on the launch:

He went on to say:

Our product roadmap includes integration with CBDC and interoperability with other metaverse to enable open finance in the Metaverse.”
Thanks to Kiyaverse, customers will be able to use their personalised avatars on digital banking units, VR headsets, laptops, mobile devices, and mixed reality environments. The platform will integrate banking services from the real to virtual worlds, including avatar creation and customization by a portfolio analysis, relationship manager, wealth management, co-lending, AI-based digital client engagement, and corporate banking. Kiyaverse delivers data analysis in three dimensions for banks, including product performance, CMO Insights, risk analysis, and channel analytics.
