In 2021, the number of bitcoin-related job posts on LinkedIn increased by about 400%

A lot of employers submitted advertisements for numerous roles in the cryptocurrency business on Linkedin in 2021, a year when the sector experienced enormous development.

According to a Linkedin report released on January 13, 2021, job posts using the phrases “Bitcoin,” “Ethereum,” “blockchain,” and “cryptocurrency” increased by 395 per cent in the United States alone from 2020 to 2021.

The job-search engine also reported that job postings in the area outpaced those in the overall technology industry, which expanded by 98 per cent during the same time period.

Employers in the industry were mostly looking for software and financial specialists. At the same time, industries such as accountancy, consulting, staffing, and computer hardware are progressively recruiting blockchain experts.

The massive increase in job openings came in a year when the crypto sector’s entire market valuation topped $3 trillion at one point, headed by Bitcoin, which also achieved a new high of about $68,000.
