Grayscale all set to launch its first European ETF

Grayscale Investments stated on Monday that it is going to enter the European market with its first exchange-traded fund (ETF) in the area.

In February 2022, the business created an exchange-traded fund (ETF) that tracks the Grayscale Future of Finance Index’s investment performance. the Grayscale Future of Finance UCITS ETF will operate on the London Stock Exchange (LSE), Borsa Italiana, and Deutsche Börse Xetra.

UCITS ETF tracks the Bloomberg Grayscale Future of Finance Index’s investing performance. The GFOF UCITS ETF will be accessible to buy across Europe. This is the next step in the firm’s regional growth.

Pillars Of Grayscale Future of Finance

The GFOF UCITS ETF aims to give investors exposure to firms that operate at the intersection of finance, technology, and digital assets.

In a statement, Grayscale CEO Michael Sonnenshein stated, “This product builds on our past strengths while extending our growth as an asset management company that helps clients create portfolios that can endure the test of time. The GFOF UCITS ETF is the logical next step in our worldwide strategy.”

The Grayscale Future of Finance Index includes companies that represent three “Future of Finance” pillars:

Financial Foundations: asset managers, exchanges, brokerages, and wealth managers engaged in enabling the digital economy.

Technology Solutions: companies that provide data and processing technology to help the digital economy.

Digital Asset Infrastructure: companies actively involved in mining, energy management, and other operations that fuel the digital asset ecosystem

According to a tracker on the company’s website, Grayscale concluded the day at $14.69, down from over $26 on February 1. Among its top 10 investments are Coinbase, Robinhood, and Block.
