Candy Digital and Getty Images have teamed up for an NFT collaboration. Candy Digital is now the official and exclusive marketplace for Getty Images NFTs, thanks to a collaboration arrangement between the two firms.
Getty Images has evolved into a digital treasure, giving many collectors unique experiences. The NFTs will be issued on the Ethereum blockchain and the Palm blockchain, an environmentally friendly blockchain.
The British-American visual media company now has a collection of 465 million photographs and will concentrate on converting rare historical images into NFT collectibles. Candy’s marketplace will host Getty Images NFT sales, which has already worked with WWE, NASCAR, and Major League Baseball.
Getty CEO Craig Peters is thrilled and proud of this relationship as the company expands its market offering to NFT collectors throughout the world. This opens up new possibilities for the renowned stock image provider and its enormous community of photographers.
With its huge collection of art images from the worlds of entertainment, art, politics, sports, global or current events, culture, and the like, photographs or images from the last 170 years define and depict history.
Many of the photographs stored by Getty Images are unique images that have never been seen before. These unique collections feature photographs by great and iconic photographers who helped to shape the profession.
The two companies will unveil these masterpieces, as well as other standard photographs, as part of the event, which will be available in various digital forms for public viewing and sale to passionate NFT collectors.
