Forthcoming crypto regulations will smash Privacy Coins: InvestAnswers Host

The host of the popular crypto research and market commentary programme InvestAnswers argues that the influence of government crypto regulations would likely crush privacy focused coins (cryptocurrencies). In a recent interview, the presenter of InvestAnswers stated that he is cautious of investing in privacy coins, which he feels will be scrutinised more closely by authorities.

According to the crypto expert, privacy coins, which allow users to conduct transactions anonymously, would require a significant amount of institutional capital to become successful. He believes that venture capitalists (VCs) might boost the crypto industry, citing their involvement in the formation of previous technical behemoths such as Microsoft, Tesla, and Hewlett-Packard.

He further said the following about venture capitalists:

“… Venture capitalists are behind all these great corporations, and the challenge with private coins is that they will always be evaluated through a very high regulatory lens, and so, fund managers will not invest…”

Despite the necessity for privacy-based crypto assets, InvestAnswers’ presenter accepted that this subgroup of altcoins will likely be the first things that are going to get snuffed by forthcoming government regulation. He stated that the risk placed on privacy cryptocurrencies had no price advantage.

InvestAnswers presenter said the following about Bitcoin:

“…Currently, in the ongoing Bitcoin conference, bitcoin fans are expecting major breakthrough advances. There will also be a great disappointment if that doesn’t happen. I’ve also noticed a lot of money flowing into various assets. Bitcoin isn’t the abyssal black hole that many people believe it to be. It’s the toughest, purest asset on the planet, but there are so many places to put your money now…”
