Have you ever thought of studying about Bitcoin in an education center? Well, looks like you and El Salvador think alike. Paxful, a popular peer-to-peer (P2P) Bitcoin (BTC) platform, is seeking to help Salvadorans better understand and utilise the cryptocurrency, which became legal tender in the country last year.
Paxful has announced the inauguration of “La Casa Del Bitcoin,” a new Bitcoin instructional and training centre in El Salvador. Paxful will host educational workshops and seminars on Bitcoin and financial inclusion in the country as part of the initiative. In order to expedite the next wave of Bitcoin broad adoption, the centre will focus on raising local community understanding of the benefits of buying and selling BTC as a means of exchange.
The centre will also house the offices of the Built With Bitcoin Foundation, a non profit organisation based in the United States that uses Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies to provide clean water, quality education, sustainable farming, and humanitarian aid. The foundation’s executive director is Ray Youssef, co-founder and CEO of Paxful.
