SlingTV, the American Cancer Society, Newegg, Menufy, the Carolina Hurricanes, and Twitch are among the prominent firms that now take SHIB through BitPay. BitPay officially started accepting the Shiba Inu coin in late 2021, allowing SHIB to be used at hundreds of BitPay merchants that accept Shiba Inu.
Shiba Inu and other BitPay-supported cryptocurrencies are also accepted as payment by Vancouver-based meatmeCA. Shiba Inu, a meme cryptocurrency, topped a recent competition conducted by BitPay, a leading cryptocurrency payments processor. The “BitPpay Brackets” contest was organised to identify which cryptocurrency was “ready to burst.”
The competition consisted of four rounds with a total of 16 coins, including Binance Coin, Cardano, Solana, Polkadot, Dogecoin, and other altcoins, split into brackets. During each phase of the tournament, the cryptocurrency community had to vote for its preferred coin from a given pair using a specified form. Shiba Inu managed to acquire a lead against Terra, Solana, and then Cardano over the first three rounds.
