Cardano Founder Charles Hoskinson is confident that the upcoming Vasil Hard Fork will lead to significant performance improvements for the platform. He made the statement in response to a “recap video” he posted on his YouTube channel. According to him, these fresh modifications will make Cardano much better than what it was before.
Hoskinson began by stating that he was preparing for the upcoming Consensus 2022, which would take place from June 9 to 12 in Austin, Texas. He also stated that he will show Cardano supporters and the broader crypto world that the Cardano development team is open and ready for business.
Additionally, Hoskinson believes that the Vasil hard fork will be live in June and will result in a “huge performance increase to Cardano.” According to Hoskinson, it will contain pipelining, which is one of the foundations that allows growth in Cardano’s network.
According to Hoskinson, the next hard fork would provide several scaling improvements, including Hydra, Pipelining, UTXO on-disk storage, and a new Plutus. Apart from parameter changes, the new features will enhance Cardano’s network by expanding the range of decentralised exchanges (DEXs), decentralised financing (DeFi), and smart contracts.
Hoskinson also said that the network’s IOG team is working hard to provide new features and goods to its users, such as a new highlight wallet and a DApp store. It will also have bridges that will let assets be freely moved from the main layer 1 chain to other side chains.
