Bud Light collaborates with Nouns DAO for a Super Bowl commercial

Bud Light, a beer brand owned by Anheuser-Busch, has teamed up with Nouns DAO (a decentralised autonomous organisation) for their Super Bowl ad, which will run on Sunday.

The agreement, according to Bud Light’s senior director of digital Corey Brown, will help the beer brand further establish itself in the NFT area. “As part of the agreement, Nouns has provided a Nouns NFT to Bud Light NEXT in exchange for the legendary Nouns glasses to be used in our Super Bowl commercial,” Brown explained.

On the Ethereum network, Nouns DAO is a generative NFT project. Its avatars are made up of words such as persons, places, and objects. Bud Light NEXT, Bud Light’s new no-carb beverage, will be featured in the commercial. Bud Light N3XT, the brand’s first NFT project, began last month with 12,722 unique tokens.

According to Brown, collaborating with the DAO will allow Bud Light to meet consumers where they are. “In the same way that Bud Light NEXT will allow us to attract more fans into the Bud Light portfolio, the Bud Light N3XT Collection, our relationship with Nouns DAO and entry into the NFT space will allow us to engage with established and new fans in an altogether new way,” he said.
